Catnip or Field Balm gives cat a nice fun buzz similar to mary-j in people. However, when consumed by us folks, its often referred as field balm; catnip for cats, field balm for humans. They are the same herb. The chemical that makes cats high is called nepetalactone. In people, nepetalactone acts as a mild sedative and digestive support. Field Balm is currenlty in SUN-T loose leaf blend, Toronoto with supporting herbs to support the gut and digestive system. The taste, of field balm, in my opinion, is spicy, and of course, minty.
